We regret that the values of mean annual solar radiation (SRad) that we reported and used in our models were multiplied by 100.Therefore, the ranges ofSRadin both Portugal and Spain on Table 1 (page 750, top), columns 4 and 5, line 7, actually correspond toSRad×100. Accordingly, in Table 2 (page 750, bottom right), the coefficients associated toSRadin both the Spanish and the Iberian modelshould be multiplied by 100 if they are to be used with actualSRad(and notSRad×100) values.We apologise for this mistake and thank Meghan Williams for pointing it out.
